A new website for an ambitious law firm

We need a website that reflects the firms values and expertise, with the flexibility to adapt as we continue our rapid growth.


Morrisons Solicitors are a law firm with a long history and big ambitions. They are the leading firm of solicitors in Surrey, with 9 offices across South West London and the surrounding areas.

They have achieved a period of significant growth achieved through a combination of organic growth, lateral hires and strategic acquisitions.

The challenge

To support Morrisons significant growth and to reflect the values and expertise of the firm, a major rebrand of the firm was undertaken. As part of this project, the website was to be updated as the current website was considered to be underperforming and not representative of the firm today.

The brief

Morrisons is very much a people business, and it was important to the firm that the website reflected the firms values and ethos. The firm represents both businesses and people, and it was important that the site navigation and messaging supported both of these client groups. 

What we did

In order to understand the brand, competitive landscape, commercial objectives, values and ambitions of the firm, we undertook a workshop with senior managers of the business using our standard discovery methodology. This was complemented by a competitive analysis across a number of key competitors and peers in other industries.

From this workshop we identified a number of core ideas for the new website.


We developed a navigation structure that greatly simplified the firms expertise, and clearly presented the firms services that were available for both business and personal clients.

The home page was designed with the specific aim of empowering site visitors to find the content that they require quickly and easily. An innovative lawyer finder, short video introductions to the firms and focus services all help the visitor find the correct content for their needs.
